Natan Tishin

VIOLIN

Natan Tishin was born in 1999 in Israel, in the family of musicians. He started his violin studies at the age of 4 and a half in the class of Prof. Irina Etigon. He played his first concert at the age of 5, and at the age of 6 he attended his first competition at the Ashdod National Competition, in which he won the “Audience Award”. In 2010, Natan won the 1st prize in the “Bravo” national competition.
Natan has played many different concerts in Israel and around the world. He won an Excellency Scholarship in 2013, 2019, 2020 at the America-Israel Cultural Foundation and a grant from Lions Club International Foundation in 2017 and 2018.
Natan participated in different master classes around the world: the Leonidas Kavakos International Master Classes in Athens, Keshet Eilon in Israel, Iclassical Academy in Milano and Académie Internationale d’été in Nice.
Since 2015, Natan is studying with Prof. B. Garlitsky in Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany. In July 2021, Natan was accepted by the Karajan Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker, where he will begin to study in September.
