The ELBA ISOLA MUSICALE D’EUROPA Festival is more than an international event of excellence: it is the ideal opportunity for those in quest of authenticity to experience the magic of music, amplified by a beautiful natural stage, far from the background noise that dominates our time.
In the heart of the National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago, musicians from all over the world meet every year since 1997 to share the re-creation of musical masterpieces of all times in an unparalleled context, inspired by an extraordinarily luxuriant and welcoming land, a magical place steeped in history, where the enchantment of the landscape naturally blends in with the art and a simple way of life, in harmony with nature.

A widespread festival: new and rediscovered venues
For its 30th edition, Elba Isola Musicale d’Europa once again involves all seven municipalities of the island, with two special venues in Marina di Campo and Porto Azzurro: Piazza della Chiesa in Sant’Ilario and the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Monserrato. Two places of great charm where landscape, history and spirituality intertwine.
Great Anniversaries and New Perspectives
In the spirit of major anniversaries and contemporary creation, the 30th edition of Elba Isola Musicale d’Europa spans three centuries of musical history, from Louis Couperin to Weber and Britten. Alongside the tributes, the programme features original reinterpretations of key repertoire works and a new festival commission marking the return of Arielle Beck.
ELBA FESTIVAL ORCHESTRA
An international symphonic formation in residence on the Island of Elba for a week of rehearsals and concerts during the Festival. The orchestra is made up of established soloists, flanked by young musicians who can thus follow an entire week’s training course, comparing themselves with highly experienced artists and with diversified repertoires.
