Lorenzo Drago
Lorenzo Drago, born in 2005, started to play the bassoon at the age of 7 with Prof. Francesco Bossone (the first bassoon at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia di Roma, and later, at the Conservatory with Prof. Masini. Lorenzo won numerous European competitions and played the first bassoon in the orchestras for young musicians in Italy under the direction of S. Genuini, R. Muti, R. Abbado. He took part in many masterclasses conducted by prominent German, Swiss, Austrian and Italian professors, and played as a soloist Mozart’s Concerto K191 with the orchestra I Musici di Parma.
