Trio Bearzatti, Gallo, Tamborrino

Storyteller in love with words and capable of considerable innovations, attracted by revolutionary processes as long as they are free and shifting, Francesco Bearzatti begins his musical journey with a love for Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, followed by an affinity with punk music, which has influenced the early stages of his career. One of Bearzatti’s first significant experiences was the album “Live at Vartan” and the subsequent tour in the United States, where he had the opportunity to play with the famous drummer Ben Riley. However, it was during his period in Paris that Bearzatti’s career reached its summit, seeing him protagonist in collaborations with Aldo Romano and later with Emmanuel Bex. In recent years he has received numerous awards, including “best new talent” in the Top Jazz survey of Musica Jazz magazine in 2003 and “Woodwind Instrumentalist of the Year” in 2009. In 2011 he was named best European musician by the French Jazz Academy.

After several albums dedicated to important figures (Tina Modotti, Malcolm X, Monk, Zorro), Bearzatti presents himself with his “Paz – Post Atomic Zep” project dedicated to the music of Led Zeppelin, in which he interprets the repertoire of the historic British group in an absolutely personal way. With him on stage two extraordinary musicians, Danilo Gallo on bass and Stefano Tamborrino on drums.
