Federica Del Gaudio

CELLO

Federica Del Gaudio, born in Martina Franca in 1998, graduated with honors in the cello class of maestro Nicola Fiorino, then received the Master’s Degree in Chamber Music at the Niccolò Piccinni Conservatory of Bari and graduated in the Advanced Course of Cello Performance at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with Mº Giovanni Sollima.

She is currently attending the final year of the Master Music Performance at the Hochschule der Künste in Zurich under the guidance of Maestro Orfeo Mandozzi.

In 2022 she attended the the Cello High Specialization Course at L’Accademia di Pinerolo with Mº Patrick Demenga. Federica, in addition to classical specialization, is studying Jazz Cello with Cécile Grüebler and Baroque Cello with Martin Zeller at the Hochschule der Künste in Zurich.

She won the 1st prize at the “I colori dell’Arte” Music Competition in Taranto and the 1st prize at the “Euterpe” Music Competition in Corato. She participates in many important festivals. Federica has also performed in Jazz ensembles alongside important figures such as Gabriele Mirabassi, Marcella Carboni, Pasquale Barone, Vince Abbracciante, Pasquale Mega, Giovanni Angelini and Camillo Pace.
