Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2002, he began his musical studies at the age of ten at the “Candidito” Music School in Teror, his hometown. There he completed his elementary studies with his teacher and master Iván Rodríguez Henríquez. In 2021 he was admitted to the High School of Music of the Basque Country “Musikene”, where he currently studies classical trumpet with Luis González Martí and Alfonso González Barquín. Emilio played from a very young age with the Banda de Música de Teror and with the Banda de Música de la Ciudad de Arucas, and collaborated with various ensembles, such as the wind ensemble of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Gran Canaria or the Buzzing Brass Ensemble.

In recent years he has also collaborated with various professional orchestras: with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Las Palmas, participating in the New Year’s concerts and the thematic ones held in the summer months; with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao in the recording of works written by Musikene’s composition students; with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria under the direction of Karel Mark Chichon and Leonard Slatkin, where Emilio performed both in season concerts and in programs of the last two editions of the Festival de Música de Canarias.
