Alessandra Ammara

Alessandra Ammara started her career thanks to some important prizes she won in international piano competitions, playing in the most important European concert halls like: Musikverein in Vienna, Festspielhaus in Salzburg, Philharmonie in Berlin, and in China, USA, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, both as a soloist and with orchestra. She has also collaborated with some of the most outstanding interpreters like Jing Zhao, Alban Gerhardt, the Cremona Quartet. Since 1999 she regularly plays in a piano duet with her husband Roberto Prosseda, with whom she recorded all four hands and two pianos repertoire by Felix Mendelssohn, in 2015 by Decca label.
