Karina Oganjan

SOPRANO

Born in Riga (Latvia), but of Armenian and Tatar origins, soprano Karina Oganjan undertook the study of singing in Italy. In 2012 she was awarded the National Prize of the Arts, chamber music section, in trio with M. Rinaldi (mezzo-soprano) and L. Zarcone (piano). With this training she has performed in prestigious venues, such as the Lingotto in Turin, the Auditorium Pollini in Padua and the Government Palace in Trieste. As a soloist he has collaborated with the Orchestra of Padua and Veneto, the Orchestra of the Opera of Ljubljana, the Venice Baroque Orchestra, the Symphonic Orchestra of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Mitteleuropa Orchestra, the Ensemble Sentieri Selvaggi , under the direction of T. Severini, L. Pfaff, C. Boccadoro, J. Kyzlink, P. Paroni. As interpreter of the music of the Armenian and Tatar tradition, he collaborated with the virtuoso of the duduk Djivan Gasparyan (Mittelfest 2011), in trio with C. Rojac, accordion, and F. Zigante, guitar (Teatro Comunale di Monfalcone, Season of the Normal University of Pisa), and with the Soloists of the National Academy of S. Cecilia (Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome) She performed in duo with the cellist Mario Brunello at the Olympic Theater in Vicenza, Argentina Theater in Rome, Mi.To Festival etc.
