Sought after as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher, Samuele Telari’s recent solo engagements include recitals at Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and the Berlin Konzerthaus.

Over the last few years he has met and collaborated with various artists: Angela Hewitt, Pablo Barragán, Uri Caine, the Simply Quartet and Ema Nikolovska. He was also invited by Stefano Bollani to appear on his show “Via dei Matti numero 0” on Rai3.

He appeared as a soloist with orchestras such as I Pomeriggi Musicali, the Orchestra Haydn, the Orchestra Cherubini and the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra, collaborating with conductors such as Kent Nagano, Alessandro Bonato, Marco Angius and Tobias Volkmann.

A prize-winner at the 2019 Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) International Auditions, in 2021 Delphian released Samuele’s recording of Bach’s Goldberg Variations at the Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh, to critical acclaim. He regularly features on BBC Radio 3 and Rai RadioTre.

For the 2025/26 season he will join Nicola Benedetti for her solo tour in the UK. He will also return to the Elba Isola Musicale d’Europa Festival and MITO Festival with the Goldberg Variations, and make his debut with the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto performing Gubaidulina’s masterpiece Sieben Worte. He will record a CD with Tabea Debus (recorder) for Delphian Records, featuring three premiere recordings.

Passionate about contemporary music, Samuele has worked with many composers including Franck Bedrossian, Salvatore Sciarrino, Nicola Campogrande, Simone Cardini, Osmo Tapio Räihälä, Vittorio Montalti and Domenico Turi, and with ensembles such as Opificio Sonoro and Divertimento Ensemble.

Samuele has performed widely across Europe, appearing at Snape Maltings Concert Hall in Aldeburgh, Amici della Musica di Firenze, Cité de la Danse et de la Musique (Strasbourg), Verbier Festival and MITO Festival. In 2022 he had a solo tour in Colombia, supported by Banco de la República.

Awards include 1st Prizes at the 2018 Arrasate-Hiria (Spain) and 2013 Castelfidardo (Italy) Competitions. In 2017 he released his first solo CD LIMES, and in 2020 a duo CD for accordion and clarinet, BROKEN SHAKE.

Born in Spoleto (Italy), Samuele is Professor of Accordion at the Conservatorio “Luca Marenzio” in Brescia – Darfo Boario Terme.
