Oleksandr Sayko

Born in 2007, Oleksandr Sayko began studying the violin at the age of twelve with Stefano delle Donne in Florence, later attending masterclasses in Castellabate and Acri and winning his first prizes at competitions in Scandicci (First Prize, 2021) and Acri (First Prize, 2022).

At fifteen, he continued his training with Oleksandr Semchuk and Ksenia Milas at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, taking part in numerous masterclasses in Brescia, Lucca, and Atri. In recent years, he has distinguished himself in several national and international competitions, including the Dinu Lipatti in Tivoli (First Prize, 2025), the “Francesco Cardaropoli” in Bracigliano (First Prize, 2025), and the Premio Crescendo in Florence (First Prize, 2025).

As a soloist, chamber musician, and duo partner, he has performed in numerous Italian cities – including Rome, Florence, Turin, Siena, Lucca, Brescia, Alessandria, and the Island of Elba – as well as in Poland and Switzerland, where he has made several recordings in Zurich.

Since 2024, he has also been studying at the Accademia Musicale di Firenze and the Dzialak & Söhne Musik-Akademie in Zurich with Anna Savytska. He has furthered his chamber music experience by attending the Xenia Chamber Music Course in Pracatinat (2022, 2023, 2024), the Chamber Music Course in Conzano (2024), and masterclasses with Mark Messenger and Maria Tarasewicz in Brescia.
