Monica Mosolo
Born in 1977, she completed her studies in Udine, graduating from the Civic Academy of Dramatic Art "Nico Pepe" and graduating in Literature at the local University. In her artistic career, she focuses above all on theater that combines narration with social and historical investigation: this is the context for the plays "Assedio (Siege)", an original dramaturgy by Barbara Bregant, on the wars in the former Yugoslavia; "Argentina. Versi di tuttie di nessuno" and "Siamo in tante – Dizionario di un decennio (We are many - Dictionary of a decade)", concert-show on feminism by Marina Giovannelli.
The most recent experiences concern the conception and staging of shows closely related to music, including "AgheVodaUjë - Carmina Balcanica", musical and poetic suite on music by Valter Sivilotti, a show conceived for the inaugural day of Mittelfest 2015 in Cividale del Friuli and "Sconfinati" - theatrical concert on frontier worlds, for Mittelfest 2020. She is active in minority-language dubbing (the last experience is for the RAI headquarters of Friuli Venezia Giulia, for which she has just finished dubbing the cartoon "Topo Tip" in Friulian) and is a lecturer in diction at the Nico Pepe Academy in Udine. She has been singing in choirs since she was a child and she has been part of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Choir since its foundation.
