Martin Reiter was born in 2001 in Passau, Germany. When he and his family moved later into the area of Stuttgart, he received his first horn lessons at the age of five years at the local public music school, where he took lessons until the entrance exam at the University of Music Freiburg 2019. During the years from 2009 to 2019, he won several awards in the German competition for young musicians “Jugend musiziert”. In 2019, he was honoured with the cultural prize by the local Lions club. Presently he is completing his bachelor’s degrees in horn with Prof. José Vicente Castelló, Marc Noetzel, Genevieve Clifford, and Bart Aerbeydt (natural horn) as well as in music theory with Prof. Hans Aerts. Furthermore, he attended to lessons with renowned horn players ass Bruno Schneider, Radovan Vlatkovic, Frøydis Ree Wekre, Christian Lampert, and Thomas Müller. He gained orchestral experience through the academy of the Freiburger Barockorchester 2021, and several youth orchestras in Germany and Austria.
