Born in L’Aquila, she graduated with highest honors from the “G. Rossini” Conservatory in Pesaro in the violin class of Mario Ferraris and then from Milan G. Verdi Conservatory in the class of Daniele Gay.
Margherita attended Masterclasses with P. Vernikov, M. Quarta, K. Sahatçi, R. Honeck and the Advanced Course in Violin Performance at Pescara Musical Academy held by E. Pellegrino and I. Grubert. In 2010 she undertook the study of viola under the guidance of Simone Gramaglia. She obtained a Level II Academic Diploma in Viola with highest honors at the Conservatorio “A. Casella” in L’Aquila. She also attended master classes with L. Dutton, R. MacDuffie and A.C. Soanea.
A founder and member of the Guadagnini Quartet until December 2015, Margherita participated in the masterclass for String Quartet held by the Cremona Quartet at the Walter Stauffer Academy and studied with Hatto Beyerle, while also attending courses at European Chamber Music Academy.
With the Guadagnini Quartet, she won the Franco Abbiati Prize of Italian music criticism (the Farulli Prize) and has performed in major festivals and concert seasons in Italy and in Europe. Stradivari Festival, Unione Musicale of Turin, Amici della Musica of Palermo, Amici della musica of Padua, Bologna Festival, Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna, Teatro La Fenice, K&K Festival and Le Sion Festival.
She has performed with the Cremona Quartet in the quintet and sextet ensembles for the MiTo Festival (Sala Verdi in Milan and Teatro Carignano in Turin), Trento Philharmonic and Teatro Verdi in Pordenone. From 2016 she collaborated with I Solisti Aquilani, I Solisti di Pavia, Chamber Orchestra of Perugia. She is currently the member of Colibrì Ensemble Orchestra.
