In 2016 the Borletti Buitoni Trust awarded the Quartetto Lyskamm the special prize for chamber music in memory of Claudio Abbado. In previous years the quartet received the second prize and the special Pro Quartet prize at the Franz Schubert und die Musik der Moderne International Competition in Graz, the Vittorio Rimbotti prize of the European Academy of the Quartet, the prize of the Jeunesse Musicale Deutschland, the scholarship of the Ad Infinitum Foundation and the first prize in the competition of the Possehl Stiftung of Lübeck. In 2017 the quartet won the first prize at the Gianni Bergamo Classic Music Award in Lugano. The Lyskamm Quartet has been the guest of numerous concert societies in Italy and Europe, including the Società del Quartetto di Milano, Musicainsieme Bologna, the Festival Mito, the Unione Musicale and Lingotto Musica in Turin, the Verdi Theater in Trieste, the The Sounds of the Dolomites festival, Elba Festival, the Bergamo Quartet Society, the Quatuor international festival in Bordeaux (France), the Aldeburgh Music Festival (Great Britain), the Brahms Festival in Lübeck and the Rheingau Musik Festival (Germany). It has collaborated as a quintet with Mario Brunello, Gabriele Carcano, Simone Rubino and with the actor Giuseppe Cederna in a show dedicated to Franz Schubert and Giacomo Leopardi. Since 2014 the Lyskamm Quartet has been involved in projects promoted, in Italy and in Europe, by Cidim (Italian National Music Committee). The quartet was in residence at the "Amici della musica di Padova" for 2015-2017 and is a quartet in residence at the Accademia Filarmonica Romana for three years from January 2019, performing the complete quartets of B. Bartòk and the Op.18 of L. van Beethoven. Important encounters in the formation of the Lyskamm Quartet were those with the Artemis Quartet at the University of the Arts in Berlin and with the teachers Hatto Beyerle, Johannes Meissl, Ferenc Rados, Claus Christian Schuster, Eberhardt Feltz and the Cuarteto Casals. The Lyskamm Quartet continued its specialization under the guidance of Heime Müller at the University of Lübeck, obtaining a master's degree in chamber music. The quartet was a guest with concert and masterclasses at the prestigious University of Oxford, England. In January 2019, the first CD recorded by the Lyskamm Quartet containing the fourth and sixth quartet of Béla Bartók, recently re-released with the NovAntiqua Records label, was released exclusively with the Amadeus magazine.
