Fabio Morgione

VIOLA

Born in Chieti in 1998 in a family of musicians, Fabio Morgione began by studying violin and later changed to viola. Graduated with honors at Pescara Conservatory of Music, he continued his studies with Erasmus Treineeship at the Krefeld and Mönchengladbach Theater and then in Cologne, earning a Bachelor of Music degree in 2021 with maestro Alexander Zemtsov.

Fabio performed in numerous chamber ensembles and orchestras in some of the most prestigious concert halls, such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Philharmonie in Cologne, the Konzerthuset in Stockholm, the Cankarjev Dom in Ljubljana, he took part in various festivals such as the Aurora Festival in Stockholm and the Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival in Lucca. Fabio collaborated with the “Luigi Cherubini” youth orchestra under the baton of maestro Riccardo Muti.

He played with internationally renowned artists such as Leonidas Kavakos, Marco Rizzi, Enrico Dindo, and Francesco Manara. In the 2022/23 concert season he is part of the orchestra of the Aachen Theater. Currently, Fabio Morgione continues his studies in Cologne, where he is pursuing a Master of Music degree.
