Elena Santana de la Rosa

VIOLA

Elena Santana de la Rosa began her studies in classical viola in Madrid with Rocío Gómez and Jaime Huertas. She started her Bachelor studies in the Royal Conservatory of Madrid and finished them in the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Mikhail Zemtsov. She has recently completed her master’s studies in the HFMT Köln under the guidance of Alexander Gordon.

Elena has participated with several orchestras around Europe, America and Asia. GMJO and JONDE are orchestras that have had a great influence on her development as an orchestral musician. At the moment she is taking part in the Staatsorchester Kassel Academy.

Ensemble Trapèze and Azalaïs Quartet have being the groups in which she has developed in the field of chamber music and that have led her to work and learn from renowned musicians such as Clive Brown, Casals Quartet, Alban Berg Quartet, Danel Quartet, Quiroga Quartet among others.
