Davide G. Tomasi, guitar
Marco Musso, guitar
The Tomasi–Musso Guitar Duo, formed by Italian guitarists Davide Giovanni Tomasi and Marco Musso in 2016, has quickly gained international recognition. Despite their young age, they have already performed across three continents – from Japan to Mexico, from Russia to Taiwan, from the United States to South America – as well as throughout Europe. They have appeared both as soloists and as a duo in renowned venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, La Fenice Theatre in Venice, the International House of Music in Moscow, Munetsugu Hall in Nagoya, and the Conjunto Santander in Guadalajara.
In Italy, they are regularly invited to perform in major concert series, including Unione Musicale in Turin, Fondazione Perugia Musica Classica Onlus, Oratorio del Gonfalone in Rome, among many others.
Both artists have received significant international accolades: Davide was awarded First Prize at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich, one of the world’s most prestigious competitions, while Marco was a scholarship holder of De Sono – Associazione per la Musica from 2013 to 2015.
Driven by their artistic vision and a constant search for new expressive possibilities, the duo has developed an original repertoire for two guitars, largely based on transcriptions of piano works. This exploration led to their debut album, Miroirs, released by BAM Music International in 2019, featuring masterpieces by Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel.
In addition to French Impressionism, their repertoire ranges from selections from Johann Sebastian Bach’s The Well-Tempered Clavier to the Spanish classics of Isaac Albéniz, as well as original works for two guitars by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and many other captivating pieces.
