Clara Pérez Campuzano
VIOLIN
Born in Cantabria (Spain), Clara began her musical career there under the supervision of professor Ángela Herrero at the age of eight and nowadays she is studying violin with professor Liana Gourdjia at Musikene (Higher Centre of Music of the Basque Country). Clara is an active member of a different orchestras in Spain such as JOSCAN (Joven Orquesta Sinfónica de Cantabria), OSJUIMPAA (Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil UIMP - Ataúlfo Argenta) and EGO (Euskal Herriko Gazte Orkestra Fundazioa). She has also been invited to collaborate with professional orchestras like the Llíria ‘City of Music’ Orchestra or the Freixenet Symphony Orchestra (in the XX Santander Encounter of Music and Academy). She has attended classes from recognised violinists like Judith Ingolfsson, Dmitri Makhtin, Marc Danel, Cibrán Sierra, Miguel Colom, Catalin Bucataru, Kamran Omarli, Lev Chistyakov and others. As a chamber musician, she is a violinist of the Argenta Quartet, with which she has received several masterclasses from members of renowned european string quartets such as Cuarteto Quiroga, Quatuor Diotima and Kuss Quartett. She also takes part in Ensemble L’inégalité, which focuses on baroque repertoire.
