Over 60 musicians from 20 different countries, including internationally renowned soloists and young talents, 16 events, 9 locations: these are the first highlights of the 27th edition of “Elba Musical Island of Europe”, that will last from 27 August to 10 September in Portoferraio and in other Municipalities of the Island of Elba – Capoliveri, Rio, Marciana and Marciana Marina – with an unprecedented Musical Journey to the Island of Capraia. It will therefore, as always, be a festival of international scope, celebrating the union of music and nature, art and history, and the dialogue between different repertoires, styles and sounds, from chamber and symphonic music to jazz and Brazilian music.
