Born in Asturias, Spain in 1990, Paloma obtains her bachelor degree at Musikene, Basque Country Music College. She studied for the Master of Music at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and played in The London Symphony Orchestra, where she was awarded the Lefever Prize 2015, as the most promising player of the LSO Scheme String Experience of the year.
She has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain, a full member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) and a Principal viola at the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester (GMJO).
After graduating, Paloma works in several European orchestras : National Orchestra of Spain, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Galician Symphony Orchestra, Castilla y Leon Symphony Orchestra, Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Haydn of Bolzano and Trento, and Balearic Symphony Orchestra.
Paloma has a very active chamber music career, having performed in Prades International Chamber music Festival in France, Solsona Music festival in Cataluña, Chipping Campden Festival Orchestra in UK, among others. She is also the co-founding member of Bambú Ensemble, Spanish string octet, in which she works with dedication, performing concerts and organizing cultural events.
She is currently working in the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in Glasgow.
